May 28-June 14 Term A (3 weeks).

June 11 Last day to apply for summer graduation with an advanced degree, Graduate Division.

July 22 Final day for submitting thesis to the Graduate Division for thesis review to ensure graduation in August. Theses may be submitted to the Graduate Division on an at-risk basis. However, August graduation is contingent upon completion of final processing by noon, August 15. Students missing this deadline will be required to reapply for graduation for the term in which the student expects to graduate.

November 15 Final day for submitting thesis to the Graduate Division for thesis review to ensure graduation in January 1997. Theses may be submitted to the Graduate Division on an at-risk basis. However, January 1997 graduation is contingent upon completion of final processing by noon, December 31.
